Recurring Journals

With the Recurring Journal entries function of GL, Journal entries can be created using fixed amounts and or accounts. Multiple journals can be created with the same or similar information.

The following types of recurring journals can be created in GL:

Skelton Journals : Here you enter accounts only. This creates journals without amounts, which are entered using the Enter Journals window.

Standard Journals: Here the amounts and accounts are entered as constants, and journals are created with same account and amount informaiton. Use the enter Journals window to modify specific journals.

Formula Journals: Here the amounts vary based on the formula defined. Each generation uses the specified account balances to calculate the journal line amounts. Use the Enter Journlas window to modify specific journals.
